      Caroline Adomeit

J.S. Bach: Partita for Solo Violin in E Major BWV 1006
      J. Brahms: Hungarian Dance No. 9
      P. Tschaikowsky: Russian Dance from Swan Lake
      E. Ysaÿe: Mazurka
      P. de Sarasate: Introduction and Tarantella
      V. Monti: Czardas
      and much more

      Caroline Adomeit, violin
      Julian Riem, piano

Caroline Adomeit has assembled a jewel of a musical declaration of love. Above all, to her instrument, the violin.

For her, there are hardly any limits to what she can – or wants to – do with the violin, which is why this recording supplements Bach’s Partita with unusual pieces

like Ysaye’s Mazurka or Monti’s Czardas. The Strad Magazine praised Caroline Adomeit in no uncertain terms: “An uneven programme does little to hide the obvious skills of a young fiddler.”
