Paul Dangl, co-founder of the band "Nim Sofyan", starts a new and exciting project named "Black Market Tune". "Black Market Tune" disperses dust from the Highlands to the Alps. Paul Dangl, Colin Nicholson, Christian Troger and Johanna Kugler rummage ancient sheet music in old attics and archives in order to resurrect them: They bring to light Swedish songs about death, Scottish drinking songs and Austrian yodelers. They reinterpret old material and turn it into something new and unique. With a mixture of own compositions and reinterpretations they withdraw from dull Folk clichés and present the progressive and inventive album „Drifters & Vagabonds“. "Black Market Tune" has won the „Austrian World Music Advancement Award“. The band toured Australia two times upon the recommendation of the Irish Folk master Andy Irvine.
