Valkyrien Allstars are proud at long last to present their first recording. The Hardanger fiddle is and always has been a solo instrument, but here we show that it also makes a great ensemble instrument. This recording contains a good portion of traditional material in the form of dances and short poems. From this starting-point we have added some material of our own and taken away some, shaping it in our own way. These are artistic choices we have made en route.

Creating and developing our sound has been a fantastic process.
