With his new album “Non-Artificial”, Nenad Vasilic delivers a powerful artistic statement centered on authenticity and musical integrity. The album will be released on May 8, 2026, via the German distributor Galileo Music, and will be available on all digital platforms, on CD, and later on vinyl.
This marks Vasilic’s 16th album as a bandleader and composer, further solidifying his position as one of Europe’s leading jazz double bassists with a career spanning more than 25 years. All compositions on the album are written by Vasilic, blending jazz with Balkan rhythms and classical influences in a distinctive and recognizable style.
The album features ten tracks: Seven Riff, Nostalgia, Medna, Straight to the Point, Trilerna, Bass Jam (Duo Drums & Bass), Fight Song, Someone’s Waltz, UFO, and Seven Drops. Each piece offers its own narrative, ranging from rhythmically driven compositions to more intimate and reflective moments.
Joining Vasilic on this project are outstanding musicians: Vuk Vasilic on piccolo bass, Samo Hude on piano and Fender Rhodes, and Pedja Milutinovic on drums. Together, they create a dynamic and organic sound that intentionally avoids artificial production elements—staying true to the album’s concept.
Nenad Vasilic is an internationally acclaimed jazz bassist and composer. His work is deeply rooted in a fusion of Balkan tradition, jazz, and classical music.
“Non-Artificial” is not just an album — it is a statement of artistic honesty in a digital age.
