      Das 1979 erschienene Album "La Leyenda del tiempo" von Camaron de la Isla gilt als eines der wichtigsten Veröffentlichungen in der Geschichte des Flamenco. Camaron nahm "La Leyenda del Tiempo" u.a. mit Rockmusikern auf und schuf ein Album, das dem Flamenco viele Türen in die Welt öffnete und einen ähnlichen Status erreichte, wie Sargent Pepper für die Rockmusik. Camaron wurde von Musikern wie Tomatito, Raimundo Amador, Jorge Pardo sowie Rockmusiker wie Alameda und Tito Duarte u.a. auf dem Album begleitet.
