„ESPERANTO is the fourth release by M.K.Q.T.
After our debut Futura Bold from 2020 we took a huge development by cranking up our instrumental possibilities, working on loads of different concepts, involving ourselves in many colaborations.
Probably the most significant effect of these interactions with other artists was in fact, that - with Mike McCormick’s help - we became a quartet, involving an artificial intelligence improvising along with us. It’s called πΔ∞m∫ (Naomi) and works as a sort of meta-live-processor, both in production as well as live. We have been using it frequently and even created different approaches for visual representation, to be seen on our social media and augmented reality app (link see down below).
The title of this album - Esperanto - describes our ambition and fascination in combining the future with the past - including some nostalgic side-effects.
Still - after having recorded this music, listening to it a number of times again to make choices, then mixing and discussing the sound - every time we listen to it, it’s sooo enjoyable.“
Meat.Karaoke.Quality.Time. established in 2018, created a unique mixture of electronic music, DJ-ing, post vapor wave and collective improvisation during intensive and deepening processes. The trio integrates sociological-futuristic oriented performances, artificial intelligence and augmented reality applications into their work and stands out in a rather monolithic way. Their digitally generated music is based on self-learning processes, continuously changing the technical and structural basis of their working methods.
