Italian bassist, composer, and producer Alberto Rigoni is set to release his 14th solo album, Nemesis Call, on December 13, 2024. Known for his virtuosic bass playing and genre-defying sound, Rigoni delivers a progressive metal album full of shredding that will captivate listeners with its complex compositions and stellar guest performances.
Rigoni, an internationally recognized musician with over 15 years of experience, has earned a reputation as one of Italy’s most innovative bass players. His work spans multiple genres, from progressive rock and metal to fusion and ambient music. In addition to his solo work, Rigoni has collaborated with musical icons such as Jeff Scott Soto, Jordan Rudess, Gavin Harrison, and many others.
Nemesis Call showcases Rigoni’s signature blend of progressive, neoclassical, and metal, with 17 tracks featuring an impressive lineup of musicians. Among the guests are renowned drummers Mike Terrana (Rage, Axel Rudi Pell) and Thomas Lang (Steve Hackett), alongside guitarists Marcelo Barbosa (Angra), Luca Princiotta (Hardline), and Alexandra Zerner, as well as rising stars like 14-year-old drummer Sajan and 11-year-old guitarist Aanika Pai. This international ensemble takes Rigoni’s compositions to new heights.
