Recorded during their first American tour, For Foul Day and Fair is a collection of Scottish folk songs performed by Artie Tesize and Cilla Fisher. Together with Fisher's sister Ray and brother Archie, the four performed as the Fisher Family in the mid 1960's - later, Tesize and Fisher went on to found The Singing Kettle, a much lauded folk music television show for children. On For Foul Day and Fair, Tesize and Fisher sing both a cappella and with guitar and dulcimer accompaniment.
