      Though Christl and Robb are both British-born, The Barley Grain for Me presents a collection of folks songs from the provinces of eastern Canada. Among the songs in this collection are Canadian variants of popular British Isles tunes, including "The Foggy Dew" and "The Barley Grain for Me" (a variant of "John Barleycorn"), as well as other songs whose origins span from Ontario to Newfoundland and Labrador. Christl and Robb, who sing and play concertina, are accompanied by Grit Laskin on the mountain dulcimer.
