Similar to the first EP of PERCUSSION, it sounds very different to the acoustic program of the band and was recorded with two synthesizers, electric bass and drums in our rehearsal room by Lukas Fehling on December 9th, 2022. The five pieces mostly consist of not more than two parts with relatively little space for improvisation, aiming for a condensed and compact result. We had a great time diving into this approach to storytelling and creating atmosphere because it allowed us to change our perspective as an ensemble that usually works with more abstract material.
