The Barcelona Gipsy balKan Orchestra (BGKO); a consolidated international group of musicians based in Barcelona; he has captured the interest of audiences and programmers across Europe with his genuine reinterpretations of traditional Balkan music; Middle East and the Mediterranean. Now his fourth album is presented; Avo Kanto (Satellite K; 2018); the continuation of the sound journey started two years ago with Del Ebro al Danubio. ´Avo kanto´ means ´the songs of the grandparents´ in Esperanto; the only language capable of expressing and giving voice to the diversity of this group made up of members of such diverse origins. Each of the songs on the album is inspired by concerts; places; person; musicians and moments that continue to make the group fall in love every day: traditional themes interpreted over time; after generation after generation; that keep inside the power to evoke the deepest feelings of the human being.
