Five Fifty-Nine is my 10th solo record, an album made of ten chapters. Performed, recorded and shaped Dec 2019 - May 2020 in my room, using an acoustic guitar, an electric guitar, an old delay, two tube guitar amps, bass, drums, vocals, and four microphones.
All tracks evolved from guitar and vocal improvs. Gaseous feelings, dreams and thoughts were transformed into liquid music, and then molded into songs. Luckily I had help from four good friends accompanying me, always giving me direction and a good grilling: feel, sound, silence, sense. I hope I was a good listener... - Mario
