Cologne vocalist Barbara Barth and piano player Manuel Krass from Saarbrücken have developed a brand new, very original project, oscillating between own material of the duo partners and impressingly and personally refurbished interpretations of songs like „The Windmills Of Your Mind“, folk and pop songs („The Water is Wide“) and, of course, interpretations of material of the Great American Songbook (Cole Porter‘s „Everytime We Say Goodbye“). On their duo release „In Spheres“ Barbara Barth and Manuel Krass reduce their band ambience to the minimum of an intimate and highly communicative duo cast still widening their sound by a great palette of surprising electronic sound generation.
