PUST has for a long time ago established themselves as one of Norway’s leading vocal groups. ”Huggu over vatn” is the group’s fifth studio album and contains 13 songs with a good mix of the ensemble’s own compositions and texts, traditional melodies and cover versions. Much of the song material has inspiration from folk / traditional music and instrumental melodies, adapted to a vocal expression through PUST’s distinctive interpretations, signatures and stories. Gjermund Larsen (fiddle), Lars Andreas Haug (tuba) and Knut Aalefjær (percussion) contribute as guest performers on some of the tracks.
