After “Bienvenido” (2005) and “La musica dei popoli” (2009), with this third studio “opera” Riserva Moac gives life to a global sound: mediterranean music, balkanica, gypsy and electro… 10 songs (including single song Jackpot, feat. Erriquez from Bandabardò), a mix of balkan beat and “rap” lyrics, folk, rock and world sounds, languages and cultures from all over the globe: If “fear builds walls”, the Italian band is ready to break down walls and fences in our minds. Babilonia of Riserva Moac will be not too far from Zion…A place with just one race: the human race!
Riserva Moac and Patchanka World were born in 2003 with the aim to knock down sound border as well as geographical and historical fences. The band’s words and notes are as rock drills against every wall, real or invisible, that survives in world.
Moac, infact, is an acronym: Molise Oriente Africa Cuba, a way to say that music is able to create global brotherhood between populations. Thanks to many concerts, to a great collection of prices and to the tireless presence in many Italian and foreign compilations, now Riserva Moac is one of the most important bands in the Italian musical scene.
