      Romantic Duets

German and French Romantic duets by Felix Mendelssohn- Bartholdy, César Franck, Peter Cornelius, Camille Saint-Saëns, Anton Rubinstein and Carl Millöcker.

“As a singing duo, after twenty years of making music together we have chosen a repertoire that can most clearly bring to life our shared experience: these duets are house music in the very best sense; music and lyrics that resist any self-indulgent over-interpretation and gain their depth through simplicity and honesty. The fact that, alongside our musical partnership, our personal connection also resonates through the music is intentional and ideally audible and palpable.

Furthermore, some of the works in this form have scarcely – and the grand, highly entertaining Millöcker duet has never – appeared on recorded media. We hope that these little musical treasures reach their audience in their purest form: from mouth to ear, from heart to heart.”

      Spring Fever

The recordings for “Ich und Du” at the Liszt Centre in Raiding instantly put the whole team in a spring-like mood despite the autumnal weather outside.

When two people know each other so well it is also a particularly inspiring experience for the producer. Artistic decisions and personal aspects merge into musical moments that flow wonderfully into the recording. This recording opens windows and doors to this private spring for the listener! Adrian Eröd, baritone

Since his debut in 2001 at the Vienna State Opera, the young Austrian has been delighting audiences at his home theatre, the Vienna State Opera, and internationally , as well as the press , with his versatility as a singer.
