Galileo Music was originally founded as a German-Spanish label based in Madrid and Fürstenfeldbruck near Munich. Initially, the focus was primarily on world music from the Spanish and Latin American music cosmos. Artists such as L'Ham de Foc, Miquel Gil or La Chicana and Jaime Roos were among the first acts to release their albums on Galileo Music. The musical spectrum subsequently broadened and since 2010 Galileo Music has been a label based solely in Germany. Galileo Music is now home to artists from many parts of the world such as Dulce Pontes (Portugal), Carmen Souza (Cape Verde), Noga Ritter (Israel/England), Anna Setton (Brazil), Gjermund Larsen (Norway), Sväng (Finland), Otros Aires (Argentina), Joanna Wallfisch (USA) and many more.
