The ALLEY2 RECORDS label was founded in 2019 by acoustic guitarist Peter Groesdonk and trumpeter Volker Stegmann.

Peter Groesdonk studied at the Dresden University of Music with Thomas Fellow, Stephan Bormann and Reentko Dirks. He has already shared the stage with high-calibre musicians such as Don Ross and Georg Göbel-Jakobi and has also taken part in productions at the Semperoper Dresden.

Volker Stegmann is a member of the Staatskapelle Dresden/Semperoper and has worked for many years in various ensembles, including as a duo partner of Ludwig Güttler.

The two musicians have been working together in the fields of recording, mixing and mastering for several years.

Their aim is to produce projects with a selected programme. The artists behind the projects range from renowned musicians to highly talented newcomers. From conception to artwork design to mastering, every phase of a production is planned and executed with care.

The end result is a product in which the visual and the auditory merge to create a complete work.
