PrivateStar Entertainment began producing karaoke DVDs with German titles in 2003. At that time, there were already numerous English karaoke DVDs, but German-language repertoire was hard to come by. With the DVDs Deutsche Kultschlager Vol. 1 and Vol. 2, as well as the TV series hits and Wiesn Hits, PrivateStar filled this gap and ensured a lot of fun at karaoke parties.

As a further mainstay, in 2007 the label produced and released a guidebook DVD to her successful standard work "Die Hebammensprechstunde" in collaboration with Ingeborg Stadelmann. The two owners of the label produced the music themselves and released it on CD.
