From the very start of their band Tango Crash, the two Argentinians Daniel Almada and Martin Iannaccone have consequently taken their own path. They became trailblazers of electronic tango music with their mixture of tango, jazz and modern electronic music. After their third album, „Baila Querida“ (Dance, my sweatheart), that was granted the Preis der Deutschen Schallplattenkritik (The German Record Critics´ Award), „Accidente de Tango“ (tango crash) is a clear statement that tango is by far more than dance music. „Accidente del Tango“ is the fourth album of one of the most exciting tango groups that have emerged in the last 10 years. Its music is definitely not intended to trip the tango dancer, however, it shows that the revolution of tango which Astor Piazolla started has not at all found its final destination in tango electrónico, but offers a infinite opportunities for changes and new creations.
