these four innovative musicians now present their long-awaited second LP "vibes".
Acoustic instruments such as trombone, hurdy-gurdy, diatonic accordion, viola and violin
combine with modern dance beats. Variety is their trademark!
Distorted violins, powerful subbasses and jazzy trombone riffs set the distinctive tone of
this album. It seems impossible to pigeonhole their music, though you might feel you
have heard some of it before: hint of rock’n’roll, drum’n’bass sounds and beautiful
melodies.
With their subtle arrangements of original compositions ULMAN manage to surprise and
thrill the listener again and again. The professionally trained musicians, winners of
„creole 2007 – Prize for Worldmusic from Germany“ and awards in Rudolstadt
(Germany) and Saint Chartier (France), create a high energy mix which guarantees a
fascinating, unique sound experience.
