Seven years after the release of their previous album and after more than 9 million cumulative streams, Ablaye Cissoko, Kiya Tabassian, and the Constantinople Ensemble reunite in 2026 for their new album and show, "Estuaire," which will tour throughout 2026 and 2027. Estuaire (the estuary) is that magical place where the river meets the ocean, where the waters intertwine their stories. It serves as a metaphor for the encounter between the griot Ablaye Cissoko and the Persian bard Kiya Tabassian. These new recordings were born from genuine encounters, from those moments when life reveals its hidden beauty. They speak of extraordinary beings in their everyday simplicity, of those unassuming heroes who transform the world simply by being there. "These musical traditions are our estuaries: meeting places between our traditions and universal emotions, between local stories and hearts everywhere. It is our mission as griots and musical intermediaries that leads us to transmit beauty, to express these human qualities that deserve to be known and recognized, to highlight the lights that illuminate our shared path."
