Nenad Vasilic Trio releases previously unreleased track "Bass Song" as part of the "25 Years Anniversary – Alternate Takes" project

To mark 25 years of his creative and performing career, acclaimed double bassist and composer Nenad Vasilic presents a new release from his Alternate Takes series — the track "Bass Song", recorded during the sessions for the album Just Fly, but never released until now.

"Bass Song" is a signature Vasilic composition — a natural fusion of Balkan rhythms, contemporary jazz, and deeply personal expression. Featuring Nenad Vasilic on double bass, Romed Hopfgartner on saxophone, and Wolfie Reiner on drums, the trio delivers an intimate yet powerful performance that reflects the spirit of collaboration and musicianship that has defined Vasilic’s career.
