He is a ‘solitaire’ among European guitarists. Guitarist Martin Müller is one of the few who has developed an acoustic guitar strung with nylon strings into his own form of expression in the context of jazz and improvisation. The SZ described him as an ‘institution for the Brazilian guitar in Germany’.

His style is rooted in European guitar music, influenced by the guitar music of Brazil in dialogue with jazz. Tempo Brasileiro, that is BOSSA NOVA, BAIÃO, jazz ballads - in duo and trio - complemented by compositions by some Brazilian authors.

The recordings were made over a period of 25 years and were, remixed if the tracks were still available and all titles remastered in the renowned Pauler Acoustic Studio.

This summary covers a 25 year period of time during which I have had the pleasure of working with many great musicians. They have taken the trouble to record my compositions and my selections with a lot of ‘heart and soul’ with me.
