ALEX CONDE

Alex Conde has spent more than 15 years living in the United States where he has deepened his musical studies and has produced several musical works of great impact.

His reviews of the music of T. Monk and Bud Powell, two of the great architects of the bebop revolution in jazz, from the perspective of flamenco and Latin rhythms, have brought him the highest praise from the great publications of the jazz world, such as "Down Beat", "Jazz Is" or "Jazz Times".

The pandemic brought this young artist back home. And Julio Martí (artistic producer of Calle 54, Michel Camilo, Bebo Valdés, Vicente Amigo, etc...) gave him a new challenge that he has been preparing throughout the year and that he will present with twelve other musicians this fall.

This new musical project represents the transformation of the most traditional Spanish popular music that has always been associated with all kinds of celebrations. Starting from the most representative pasodobles, coplas and popular songs such as "Amparito Roca" or "Suspiros de España" or classics like "El beso"; Álex Conde and Los Indultados give a total twist to the vision we all have of our popular musical legacy. This project is a milestone in the history of Spanish jazz that goes far beyond what we could have ever imagined. And it is here to satisfy the jazz and popular music fans of this country.

Alex Conde has collaborated with Israel Fernández, Niño de los Reyes, among others. He has studied with leading jazz figures such as Danilo Perez, Joe Lovano, Esperanza Spalding and George Garzone. In the United States he has performed at legendary festivals and clubs, such as the Blue Note in New York, the Panama Jazz Festival and many more, and has collaborated with renowned flamenco companies.

Jazz and Flamenco are the soundtrack of my existence.
And now the time has come in which my commitment to popular art becomes total. It is a great pleasure to present my own record label after more than forty years promoting music and no one better than Álex Conde, flagship member of our "family", to inaugurate this record label that we have created to give voice to the tremendous talent of the new roots musicians, born out of globalization and inspired by all the musical sources of the planet that the social networks have made available to them. It's time to enjoy!.
