With their celebrated debut album "Break Out" (1981), Trance advanced to become the third force of the German metal scene alongside the Scorpions and Accept. The follow-up "Power Infusion" (1983) was at least an equal successor and enabled the band to play numerous concerts together with bands like Accept and Warlock, among others. The album, released by Rockport Records, made it into the Top 10 of the UK HM Charts and up to #3 in the Sounds Magazine Import Charts. Together with the debut album, a total of about 150,000 copies have been sold worldwide over the years.
"Children of Illusion" was the companion piece to the eight-minute song "Loser", which helped the band achieve their international breakthrough with their debut album, and was a powerful rock/metal ballad. Probably the strongest song on the album, however, is "Heavy Metal Queen" with its great guitar riff.
Andreas "Neudi" Neuderth, who has been a permanent member of Trance as a drummer since 2016, has now remastered the album and given the sound of the band classic even more transparency and power. The new edition comes in a 6-page DigiSleeve with a 16-page booklet.
