      Seit mehr als 30 Jahren führt die Gruppe Ethnic Heritage Ensemble die amerikanische Tradition des perkussiven Jazz aus einer eindeutig afrikanisch-chicago-amerikanischen Perspektive fort. Dies ist das zweite Album des 1973 von dem Perkussionisten Kahil El'Zabar gegründeten Ensembles und das erste für Red Records (1982). Das Album wurde im Juni 1981 in Bologna, Italien, aufgenommen. Unter Sammlern ist es eine sehr begehrte LP. Jetzt wiederveröffentlicht als 180-Gramm-Vinyl und in limitierter Auflage.
