All the recordings that Joan Chamorro have made in the last 16 years around the Sant Andreu Jazz Band project make him feel very proud and happy because they are the representation of a work that goes beyond himself and even beyond the musicians who are part of those recordings. The project has become a worldwide reference and his methodology and work philosophy have been an example for many other organisations with similar characteristics. More than 70 musicians have passed through the project, most of whom have gone on to become professional musicians. At present, the average age is 14 years old. Parallel to the recordings of the Sant Andreu jazz Band (12 JAZZINGS represented on 22 CDs) He started a series of albums that He called "Joan Chamorro presenta", which began with Andrea Motis in 2009 and which has been completed over the years with 16 more volumes: Eva Fernández (2013), Magalí Datzira (2014), Rita Payés (2014), La màgia de la veu (2014), Marc Martín (2015), Joan Mar Sauqué (2016), La màgia de la veu & Jazz Ensemble (2016), Èlia Bastida (2017), Joan Codina (2017), Alba Armengou (2018), Carla Motis (2018), Joana Casanova (2019), Jan Doménech (2019), Marçal Perramon (2020), Joan Martí (2020) and Alba Esteban (2021). In 2021, the Barcelona Jazz Festival dedicated the artist portrait to him and he had 5 concerts. For one of them he had the idea of bringing together all the musicians with whom he had recorded a CD from the "presentas" collection. They were 15 musicians and could almost form a big band. He completed the sections with two trumpet players, Elsa Armengou and Gerard Peñaranda, a saxophonist, Koldo Munné (with whom He is currently recording his presentation CD), three trombonists (Claudia Rostey, Max Tato and Perot Rigau), and for the rhythm section he had the one who had been the first drummer of the SAJB: Arnau Julià. Each of the musicians presented chose a theme. In most cases He asked for special arrangements for the occasion and Joan Monné was in charge of writing them. They are the summary of something important, of something wonderful; they are the summary of a precious dream that has no end. This big band was his dream and now, once again, it has become a reality.
