Garry Dial, Dick Oatts, and Rich DeRosa unearthed these rare compositions by Duke Ellington from between 1945 - 1970, turning them into memorable, vivid arrangements. Prior to this recording with the world-class WDR Big Band from Cologne, Germany, few of these works had a brief public life, and most were unknown to the general public.
