The new CD from pianist Spike Wilner, "Odalisque" was recorded for a petite, rapt audience of jazz fans in a living room in Vancouver. Playful originals by Wilner mingle with gems from the Great American Songbook, in a program that reflects the philosophy of Wilner's intimate Manhattan jazz club Mezzrow. The performances are a satisfying and engaging experience for the discerning jazz listener.
