      Am 19. Oktober 1999 wurde die CD "Estopa" der gleichnamigen Gruppe veröffentlicht. Obwohl die erste Single "Suma y sigue" eher floppte wurde "La raja de tu falda" ein Hit. Überall sprach man von dieser neuen Gruppe, die Rumba mit Rock verband und dem ganzen noch den Sound der Straßen verpasste. Das Album wurde ein riesen Hit in Spanien und Lateinamerika mit mehr als 1, 3 Millionen verkaufter Exemplare.
