Stefan Sterzinger is known as a lateral thinker and stalwart of the music scene of Vienna. Sterzinger was never down with making himself and his audience comfortable. “Keuschheit und Demut in Zeiten der Cholera“ (Chasity and humility in times of cholera) keeps the listener on edge, takes him by the hand and starts running just to change the speed, slow down and move faster. Elegies and serenades, instrumental pieces and waltzes, blandishments and dissonances. Sterzinger has again teamed up with his long time fellow Franz Schaden (Bass) for the production of his new album. Also, drummer Jörg Mikula is already known within the cosmos of Stefan Sterzinger, while Edi Köhlhofer on guitar is a new member of his band. Stefan Sterzinger is still inconvenient and has again created an intensive, colourful, clever and lovely wicked album.
