Kjetil Husebø tar opp tråden fra sitt forrige album Years of Ambiguity (2023) og samarbeidet med Arve Henriksen og Eivind Aarset. Dette albumet er blitt til i et enda tettere samarbeid enn sist. "Kjetil Husebø - Emerging Narratives (2024) Explore a sonic adventure with Kjetil Husebø's album ""Emerging Narratives"". The new album takes listeners on a journey through different musical moods, from minimalist moments to more complex expressions. Kjetil Husebø picks up the thread from his previous album Years of Ambiguity (2023) and his collaboration with Arve Henriksen and Eivind Aarset. This album has been created in an even closer collaboration than last time. Together with his collaborators, he creates music that is both cinematic and contrasting, with elements of both light and darkness. Emerging Narratives explores a wide range of musical ideas, from minimalist and meditative moments to complex and challenging sonic environment. The music explores the sonic and abstract while also incorporating melodic elements, and the expression moves at the intersection of jazz, ambient, drone, folk music, and contemporary music. The album was mixed by Kjetil Husebø himself in his studio in Oslo. Designer Lucas Dietrich made the cover design and sound engineer Helge Sten mastered the album.
