„Wir können in Deutschland wirklich stolz sein, solche Musiker hervorzubringen!“ Die ungewohnt herzlichen Worte von Dieter Bohlen in Richtung Dry Dudes bei der TV-Aufzeichnung zum Supertalent zündeten die nächste Stufe für die noch junge Bandgeschichte.
Generell wird das Jahr 2018 für die Dry Dudes in sehr guter Erinnerung bleiben: Im Frühjahr erschien (begleitet von einer ausgedehnten Live-Tour durch ganz Deutschland) das zweite Album „Memories“ und nach dem umjubelten Auftritt in der RTL-Samstagabend-Show „Das Supertalent“ (3 x JA von Sylvie Meis, Bruce Darnell und Dieter Bohlen) vor einem Millionenpublikum, gelang es Erwin und Patrick innerhalb von wenigen Stunden ihre Fangemeinde zu verdoppeln.
Nun legen die beiden Freunde aus dem schönen Emsland nach und legen mit „What Did I Do Wrong?“ ihre neue Single vor. Pünktlich zum Fest feiern die Dry Dudes das fast abgelaufene Jahr mit einer gefühlvollen Ballade, die auf diesem Release in vier exklusiven Versionen präsentiert wird. Neben Tobi Schneider vom DocMaKlang aus Osnabrück steuerte sogar der Hamburger Produzent Bernd Klimpel (Sarah Connor, Fady Maalouf, Haudegen etc.) die stimmungsvolle Starshine Version bei.

The Dry Dudes’ year 2018 will be remembered: In spring they released their second studio album „Memories“ (followed by a tour throughout Germany) and after their acclaimed performance at „Das Supertalent“ (3 x „Yes“ by Sylvie Meis, Bruce Darnell and Dieter Bohlen) in front of an audience of millions, the musicians Erwin and Patrick doubled their fan community within hours.
Now the two friends from the Emsland area release their next single called „What Did I Do Wrong?“. Just on time for Christmas the Dry Dudes celebrate the year with an emotional ballad, presented in four great versions. Besides Tobi Schneider of DocMaKlang in Osnabrueck producer Bernd Klimpel (Sarah Connor, Fady Maalouf, Haudegen etc.) contributed to the atmospheric „Starshine Version“ of the song.
